Patient Reviews

Seemed like an OK Dr. and I am sure he is talented but: 1) A student did all of the work 2) They scanned 2 legs when I only had one with an issue - charging me double price for two legs 3) Charged me over 3 times the price of an equivalent Dr. (this was only meant to be a second opinion). 4) Tried telling me I had to wait 3 months and make several needless office visits because "my insurance requires it" when my insurance already pre-approved the surgery and the other Dr. was able to action immediately, fully covered. 5) Turned me into collections even though I paid in full via the Aetna website several weeks earlier Terrible experience - I thought being an NYU student I would at least get a fair treatment but I will steer clear of NYU affiliated Dr.'s after my experience at Dr. Jacobowitz.
