Patient Reviews
Nov 08, 2025
I'm 54 and required total right hip replacement surgery due to years of playing hard: Military, college rugby, biking, and running. After limping around in pain for a year, I made an appointment to get an x-ray. The results were clear: In my hip joint, the cartilage was non-existent. They put me on a fast track for full hip replacement surgery, and I contacted Dr. Lauro. Choosing him was the best medical decision in my life. Dr. Lauro is knowledgeable, understanding, and very approachable. He explained everything regarding what to expect from the surgery, and made me feel confident that I was making the right decision. Fast forward to today, 6 months post-op: I am back biking, hiking, swimming, and everything else I had been missing out on for a year or more. I honestly feel 20 years younger, and Dr. Lauro deserves all the credit!
