She was my ER doctor for my 2 year old who has had a past with nurse maid elbow. I went in to get it reset and told her what had happened. She automatically assumed I was harming my child even after looking for bruises and finding none along with many other things my son is healthy and well taken care of. She took x-rays and showed me none of them, told me my story was not adding up and called children’s mercy and basically told them I was lying. They put my two year old in a split and said wait until Monday to get a call (it was Thursday evening) we went early the next morning for a second opinion and it was in fact not a fracture ( checked by 2 different X-rays and 2 different doctors ) and it was nurse maids elbow. Not resetting it when it had happened like I had told her caused him to be more sore and for it to take longer to get better. She has no bed side manner and flat out called me a liar. As a young mom taking your son to the doctors is rough. Seeing your child hurting is awful feeling but being told that I’m the cause and what I told her in fact happened being told it didn’t then being sent off with no real help. Ridiculous. Inconsiderate. And disgusting behaviour .
