My cardiologist put me on blood pressure meds after a heart attack a few years ago. Dosage has been working fine for 6 years. Now all of a sudden Dr Smith wants me in every six months so he can call in my refill. During the visit he always says I need lots of blood work. $175 for bloodwork later each time...just to have my medication called in that STILL doesnt change dosage. In between appointments you cant get them to call in the next 90 days of refills. It takes days and days of requesting it be sent to the pharmacy. Went a week this time with no blood pressure medicine before they called it in.
