Dr. Harsha Mehta, DDS

I had an incredibly disappointing and unprofessional experience at this dental office. When I arrived for my scheduled appointment, the receptionist was immediately rude saying that I hadn’t changed my insurance provider to their location. I calmly explained that I wasn’t sure how to do that, and she abruptly told me to call the number on my card and figure it out. While I was on the phone with my insurance, Dr. Mehta began loudly arguing with another patient right next to me. The exchange was heated and uncomfortable, and the patient ended up leaving visibly frustrated. Once I finished updating my insurance information, the receptionist was nowhere to be found. I called out once, then twice with no response. The third time I raised my voice slightly, and Dr. Mehta stormed out, yelling that they had no receptionist and if I had a problem with that, I could go somewhere else. I told her I just wanted my teeth cleaned. She continued to yell, saying that everything would happen on her time, not mine. I reminded her I had a 2:15 appointment and a child to pick up later so I wouldn't be able to sit around and wait. She said that I had to sit and wait until a notification popped up on her screen confirming the provider change, and she immediately started to leave. At that point, I told her this kind of behavior explains the many negative reviews and that I no longer felt comfortable being treated there. I left without receiving any care. This experience was uncalled for and completely lacking in professionalism or basic respect for patients. I would not recommend this office to anyone. Also, all her positive reviews are from family members and friends. Notice how most have the name “Mehta”. Terrible service. Do yourself a favor and never come here.
