I went to Dr. Pats because I recently discovered I’ve had a life long chronic condition called Visual Snow Syndrome and I thought it was linked to the chronic migraines I’ve had all my life. The entire time, he made comments and jokes about my weight! When he handed me a referral to a radiologist, he said “You may need to ask if they have a bigger MRI machine” and then proceeded to laugh at his own joke. He apparently didn’t even know the symptoms of VSS. I watched him Google on his phone the symptoms. I was utterly mortified. The man didn’t help me at all! Just sent me home with a script for my migraines and told me to ‘lay off the sugary drinks and beer’ even though I told him I don’t drink much. He also insinuated that I was a drug user since I’m young. He made an off handed comment about my ADHD prescription, assuming I use it for recreational purposes. All around awful experience!
