Dr. Amir was the hospitalist during my grandmother’s stay at Alliance Community Hospital. If I could give negative stars I would. He was argumentative, rude, disrespectful and an outright bully to our family when we asked about potential options to improve her wellbeing to see if she had any chance for improvement or at least reduction in her suffering during her end of life care. It’s terrible to lose a loved one, and I will never understand how you can treat people who are emotionally suffering so terribly and railroad them in to making decisions about end of life care.
