I’m irate about how my mother was treated today. She has been on her pump for over a year and her sugar has not been controlled (under 50 - over 600). My mom has been under extreme stress (her husband was in the hospital for a month) and She ended up in the ER with a blood sugar over 640. When my mom went into Dr. Buckingham’s office today she was told “out of thousands of people that use this pump, you’re the only one having issues.” My mother was crying and she was completely unsympathetic. She was also there before her appointment time but not the full 15 minutes ahead of her scheduled time and was lectured about being “on time”. Rochelle and Jenny are awesome. Unfortunately, we won’t be seeing them again because of Dr. Buckingham’s complete lack of professionalism and bedside manner.
