Dr. Shale was able to diagnose my mom with a very rare condition (fewer than 2000 people in the U.S. have it). We had seen other neurologists but they just did not have the expertise. Dr. Shale spent over an hour with my mom talking to her and examining her. Other doctors have been impatient with my mom because her speech is so slow, but Dr. Shale really listened. It was hard to get an appointment and we had to drive a few hours, but it was totally worth the extra effort and patience.
