7 day's ago we had a family member in the emergency room at Aspirus of Ironwood. Found out she has lung cancer. When I arrived in the ER, her daughter asked this doctor, can you please pull my mom's imaging and explain again what we are dealing with? This doctor replies, and I quote, 'I will show you how big the tumor is, but I don't have the time to explain this all over again' end quote. If this is a doctor you want taking care of your loved one, you go right ahead. Disgusting, and I hope that this never happens to her when and if she ever has a loved one in the same situation. We felt so lost and helpless. But a big huge shout out to the nursing staff at our little local hospital, those girls were the only reason we stayed cool, calm and collective. Best nurses ever! Only if we can find an ER doctor the same.
