I came for a sleep study to determine if I had sleep apnea. At intake, I said I usually awaken after a few hours sleep but fall back to sleep by watching a darkened TV screen at low volume. They said they wouldn't permit them and I said I'd likely remain awake. That is exactly what happened after 2 hours sleep. No apnea was reported but the doctor was fixated on my insomnia, and prescribed strong sleeping pills. I told her I didn't feel that I had that problem that I managed it well and got about 7 hours of sleep at home. I didn't take the pills, returned to my sleep routine and did not go back, reassured that no apnea was observed in the two hours I slept.

The office is the most unhelpful office I’ve ever encountered, which is impressive considering I am managing healthcare for both my parents and have also seen several sleep doctors myself. The encounter I had with the doctor herself was unpleasant, she was very condescending and borderline rude. She has managed to miss some critical health issues for my family members, so I can’t even say that dealing with the office was at all worth it. The only person in that whole office that is kind and normal is Keta, the prescription manager. Every time I have to deal with this office I know it will be a giant headache, no matter what the issue is—and they don’t send out clear information about their billing.
