Dr Skorobogaty canceled my appointment 3 hours before my appointment and his reasoning was a nurse practitioner was enough because my cancer is in remission. I still have pain from scaring after the surgery. I made the appointment 6 weeks ago.. He reviewed my files on the day of my 10:45 appointment and cancelled at 9 and his reasoning was a nurse practitioner was enough. His bio mentioned about after care. United Health care approved of this consultation. It was authorized by Scripps Clinic. Only to have him dismissive of my issues. I waited 6 weeks and was told by the office that a nurse practitioner appointments are far out and i was referred to a nurse triage. Just because I already had a mastectomy, from another medical group, does not mean everything is going well afterwards and I still need monitoring. I am a new patient and I was regularly visiting my original surgeon until I switched medical group. How can Dr Skorobagaty make that determination without even consultation.
