I do not recommend Dr. Hesham A. Elsharkawy to anyone seeking pain management. I spent nearly two years under his care, and every single appointment left me feeling worse—mentally, emotionally, and physically. He was dismissive, rude, and deeply unprofessional from day one. He never truly listened and even told me my pain was mental, suggesting I see a psychiatrist instead of addressing the real physical pain I was experiencing.I kept getting the same $3,000 injection every 3 months, and he acted like that was the only option. When I questioned it or asked for alternatives, I was met with sarcasm and mockery. During one appointment, he actually said, “I’m not a magician. I don’t do magick,” and compared my pain to cancer or diabetes, telling me I’d live with it forever and no one could help me.He hurt me during my last injection. I told him multiple times during the procedure that he was hurting me. He didn’t stop, didn’t adjust, and clearly didn’t care. I was in even more pain.
