I feel Dr. Janapana is giving me the thorough medical and psychological treatment that I have searched for. In the year+ that I've worked with her on my depression and anxiety she has been a consistently kind, professional, personable and responsive doctor. She's focused on our work and takes calls outside of appointments, calling back within 1/2 hour to half a day. We have worked over the phone and in person. Dr. Janapana is genuinely empathetic, forthright but never judgmental. I value that she is up front in discussing her assessments and thoughts honestly, but gently and that she fully answers my questions. She works in an active, supportive, collaborative model that aims to get the necessary work done. She genuinely wants to help me get better. Janapana's knowledge is vast and current. Occasionally we integrate data from medical tests whose results inform our work. She doesn't price gouge and the patient controls which test are taken.
