Chrissy called from this office and number and, without any introduction, was very insistent that I give her my address, date of birth, and last four of my social to “confirm your identity so that I can discuss your account with you.” I told her I wasn’t comfortable giving out personal information to someone who cold calls me and won’t even tell me what the call is about. She was very pushy but wouldn’t tell me what the call was about. I eventually got her name and that it was about my “dental account,” but when I said this was still an anonymous cold call and I wasn’t giving my personal info, she got even more huffy, said “I don’t need to prove anything to you”, and hung up. So yeah… super professional crew.
