Dr. Chansky did full replacements of my hip and right knee, about a year apart. Using my body hard, resulted in moderate to severe osteoarthritis and fractures of my right hip and twice my left knee. I managed pain with acetaminophen. Home exercises, prescribed by the hospital physical therapist were easy to comply with, and effective. My knee pain was definitely lower than usual, decreasing from one or two levels above what I had been having, controlled by Rx strength diclofenac gel. I found a conveniently located physical therapist for the prescribed therapy. I quickly became pain free and fully mobile. His BS degree in engineering shows in his precise and analytical attitude. Dr. Chansky has his clinical practice at the Roosevelt Joint and Spine Center. The service there is very prompt and very kind. He does surgery at Northwest Hospital, where there is almost family atmosphere. His PA Connie Ly is the ultimate in ability, attention and kindness.
