Rude and unprofessional. He sat back casually slinked in his chair barely speaking or making eye contact with patient’s family during the eval (assistant was more kind and communicative). Then when he finally spoke, it was to berate the patient’s mother. He was rude and cruel. Belittling a mother of a patient is never appropriate or called for, especially not in what should be one of the best children’s hospitals. I do not recommend him. Parents should be treated with compassion and understanding considering what they are faced with and coping with on a daily basis. Parents are doing their best. This doctor is not. He’s cold and lacks basic bedside manner. He also stated he doesn’t think anything will be found in tests, thereby rendering him useless, blowing off any hope, and planting seeds of distrust that he won’t even care to properly do his job and seek to the connect the dots. I don’t know why anyone would recommend him.
