Dr Wood saw me in the ER. I thought I had COVID. My symptoms didn’t match that, but he clearly thought something was wrong. He took the time to run test after test. In the end, I was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. The diagnosis was completely out of the blue but without his diligence and tenacity I don’t know when I would have found out about this terrible disease. I credit him with saving my life. His hard work, insistence on my starting treatment immediately jump started my treatment. Many, many, thanks to Dr. Wood.
