She dogmatically believes that a patient's knowledge and command of health should be below the superiority of the doctor. She has written demeaning articles judging and stereotyping patients as "demanding" and "entitled" when they use medical jargon. I have a degree in psychology and during my appointments I had referenced to professional terms. As such, she did not take my conversation seriously and condescendingly thought I was trying to one-up her. Having been new to the Cleveland Clinic/never seeing a psychiatrist before, she failed to answered basic questions and make me feel welcome – it felt like I was inconveniencing her. After my first visit, she never walked me out or instructed me through the check-out process, and I got subsequently got lost in the building, and was left confused on how to reschedule. Appointments consisted of her asking questions and then typing my answers in silence. She did not invite interaction. After three sessions she unexpectedly terminated me.
