I am extremely disappointed with the level of unprofessionalism displayed by this doctor. I have been a patient for only a few months, and I have been very patient with them. Recently, I was in excruciating pain and explained my situation to the doctor. However, she dismissed my concerns, smirking and telling me it wasn’t their problem but the insurance’s issue, advising me to call them instead. I responded that resolving this matter should be her responsibility, not mine. Throughout the conversation, she was rude and showed little concern for what I was saying, clearly more interested in getting rid of me. Thankfully, a male nurse was present in the room and even he appeared surprised by her behavior. As I was leaving, I asked the nurse if he had noticed how she spoke to me, and he seemed visibly shocked and disappointed. Doctors should show empathy and care for their patients, especially when they are in severe pain, not argue or insult them.
