After being diagnosed with breast cancer, I was overwhelmed with fear, grief, and uncertainty. From the very first consultation that my husband and I had with Dr. Vial and Anna we were treated with compassion and respect. They also explained every step of the surgical process in detail—the intricacies of the DIEP flap procedure and post operative recovery—without ever making us feel rushed or unheard. During the scheduling process my husband tragically passed away. I was devastated but still had to move forward with cancer treatment. Dr Vial was highly recommended to do a breast reconstruction revision by my breast cancer physician. From my very first appointment, I was treated with such a wonderful amount of kindness and compassion from Dr Vial and his staff. On surgery day, one of the nurses told me I was very fortunate to have such a skilled surgeon and that he was the absolute best. He sure is!
