It's difficult to know what to do when you are told that you might need a gastroenterologist. I asked family and friends, nothing. So I looked under AHN (my preferred system in the area) and read a few reviews, chose Dr Umar. The experience was very positive. Reception area was clean and the staff was nice. Dr. Umar was on time, listened to me, and we worked through my symptoms and concerns together. He doesn't seem to be the kind of doctor to prescribe unnecessary meds, and actually told me that I should stop one that I was taking. Very nice, friendly, and patient.
