Im close to the end of my pregnancy so I’ve gotten my belly measured more than once. This was the hardest I have ever been pressed on my pubic bone to date. He tucked down the waist of my pants about two inches lower than I’ve ever had any doctor pull them for this kind of measurement and just handled the whole situation kind of roughly and without patient thought. There was a medical assistant with him and I swear she saw how much I tensed up. He wanted her to learn how to measure a belly and I get that but even she did not push nearly as hard as he did. The space where his fingers were was sore for hours after and I won’t be surprised if it’s bruised tomorrow. Other than that I think he also has a very uncomfortable way of communicating with patients it was just so unsettling the tone of voice and wording he used. Even my husband was uncomfortable, both of us had never run out of an appointment so fast and I made sure I didn’t have any more appointments scheduled with him after that.
