Terrible ...He suggested Ted hose and said that I needed to lose some weight for Lymphedema ,he may know veins but he did not impress me on his knowledge of the lymphatic system .He handed me a paper to go and get measured for ted hose which is the worst thing that you can do for lymphedema. What needs to be done first before the ted hose is to go to a MLDT manual lymphatic drainage therapist and get the legs massaged and wrapped to get the swelling down then after several visits you begin to wear the ted hose and pump your legs everyday .I know this for a fact that I have been dealing with this for several years and was told many years ago to do it this way .The reason for this is because what is in the legs is lymph fluid and ted hose are the worst thing for them until you get the legs down .
