This man helped end my four days of debilitating excruciating pain, when three other doctors basically offered best wishes. He was kind, thorough (I was just looking for pain relief but after multiple sleepless nights, and being unable to eat or drink much, my body and mental state were completely ravaged), and went well beyond what I expected. I was admitted because my resting heartrate was near 180, with no history of heart problems. He ensured there was no underlying cause aside from my pain and covid including ordering labs, CT, and chest X-ray all while explaining the reasoning behind it. He also, took pity on the fact that I was being held in the same room where my father lost all of his cognitive function just a year prior, and expedited my release once verifying I was safe to leave. The compassion is not something I've witnessed in the medical field in a very long time.
