Brodeur was very rude to me & bullied me for the length of my appointment which was no more than 10 mins. Despite being diagnosed & treated for the past 10 yrs by his colleague, Brodeur complained that my prev dr prescribed me unnecessary meds. He stated that he will not treat pain with opioids nor will any other drs from his group. He told me that I was 1 pill away from an overdose but still wrote me 2 months worth of meds, never telling me to do anything differently to avoid said overdose. He was forcing me to taper abruptly. Brodeur went on to include blatant lies in my file which I saw for myself after receiving hard copies of his notes. His behavior towards me was very controlling & narcissistic. He told me the pain is only in my mind stemming from childhood trauma. However, I never suffered trauma as a child. Brodeur treated me horribly and caused me emotional stress which manifested into physical pain. I have since found a wonderful Dr who cares for me & treats me w/ respect.
