A pretty interesting person. When he was leading me into his office, he stopped to chat with someone for several minutes about things that didn’t seem very important. He then dropped his papers and just let them lay on the floor, which I found pretty odd. As any decent person would do, I knelt down and picked them up for him. There was no “thank you” or any kind of acknowledgement from him. A few minutes later he asked “you’re not from here, are you?,” even though I’ve spent a large majority
