The worst gynecologist I have ever been to. I was eighteen years old. After informing the staff of a history of sexual violence, he did not attempt to be accommodating or comforting in the slightest. Okay, he's my doctor, not my dad. I made a point to ask him about my above-average pain. He actually said the words "You don't seem like you're in pain." then he said I was "overweight and killing" myself despite my telling him I have been working with an endocrinologist since childhood and the recent bloodwork had all been good. He refused to help me explore what could possibly be causing the pain, even when I said I had a concern that it was endometriosis. He said that if it continued into out next year's visit we could try exploratory surgery and sent me on my way. Lo' and behold now I'm 20, diagnosed with endometriosis, on the proper birth control that works for my body and in Pelvic Physical therapy because the two years of his non-help caused more pain, and in turn, overused muscles.
