I have a rare illness (Behcet's Syndrom) which causes serious eye issues, such as chronic uveitis and retinal detachment, and can eventually lead to blindness. Because Behcet's is so rare, few ophthalmologists in the area are familiar with it. However, Dr. Lim was an exception. Not only was she familiar with Behcet's, but she was very vigilant in her care for me. For the first time in many years I finally felt confident with the care I was receiving. She's amazing in that she's personable, professional, knowledgeable and really has passion for her profession and her patients. Now I've found she's no longer with Oak Street clinic, and I'm unable to find where she's currently practicing. To not have Dr. Lim practicing in the area would be a great loss, not just to me personally, but to our entire community. If anyone (reading this) knows where her new office is, please let me know by commenting on this thread. Thank you.
