Patient Reviews
Jul 19, 2024
Dr. Clay was to perform a signoidectomy leaving a colostomy and I was told to expect a reattachment surgery in several months.  However, I was to receive 3 surgeries in 3 week.  The second to fix issues from the first operation and the third to fix a fascial dehiscence requiring a wound vac.  I had now been opened from the sternum to the pelvic area 3 times. After 4 weeks in the hospital and 2 weeks in rehab, i had a follow-up appointment a month later with Dr. Clay at which time I questioned him as to what had happened.  He had no response.  He ignored my question and quickly changed the subject.  I considered this unprofessional, insulting and inconsiderate. It would take another year, 2 doctors, and 3 surgeries to repair issues created by Dr Clay. Due to his questionable medical competence my health has been sadly compromised. I now have a 25cm x 20cm mesh, and a diastasis.Allowing Dr Clay to perform the operation was the worst decision I have ever made in my entire life.
