I’m grateful for Dr Foran’s honesty with my case which gave me the knowledge to choose to not wait any longer to get a full knee replacement as I’d been bone-on-bone for over 5 yrs. His approach of using the quad-cut-around incision & incredible skill led to a smoother recovery. He and his team were great about answering all questions, open to a 4-month follow-up appt when I was concerned about some issues in my rehab timeline, and explained his answers to my questions. I achieved my goal of being able to hike & snowboard within a year, which was coupled with commitment to continued PT as I progressed along with diligence in doing exercises as directed at home. A year out, I am able to do both activities again that I hadn’t been able to do for last 6 yrs, at the level I’d been before and with little to no discomfort for the first time in 25 yrs! You’ve got to keep moving and strengthening - so key to continue doing daily exercises long after you’ve healed. Don’t give up!
