I original had another doctor at the practice who I really liked but he moved on to another role and I was assigned Dr. Taub. Instead of taking the time to understand my general health profile, history and lifestyle, he strictly looked at the blood test numbers and pushed prescription medications. I decided to look into other ways myself such as lifestyle, dietary changes such as cutting back on caffeinated beverages and my numbers are now much better, whereby the numbers do not require the prescription medications he was pushing for. Maybe its me, but I prefer a doctor who takes the time to understand me as an individual and treats me a bit more wholistically. Anyone can look at the numbers and prescribe medications. Medical professionals should look more at treating the cause and not the symptom.
