Dr. Patel is knowledgeable & talented, but he lacks genuine compassion for people. He speaks lots of platitudes but doesn’t seem to genuinely care how much pain someone is experiencing. His office is in disarray, with low morale among his staff & lots of turnover. He’s always late, which shows a lack of regard for his patients. He seems more concerned with his reputation among the medical board & insurance companies than the his patients. He does not fight for his patients’ well-being, but seems to be on auto-pilot moving towards retirement. He doesn’t follow through on promises, and these times have cost me time, energy, money, & headaches. He doesn’t admit when he’s wrong and seems prideful. I will be switching doctors soon, as I have been with Patel for many years.
