Patient Reviews
Apr 08, 2025
Dr McCarl is well trained Pulmonologist but a poor communicator. He becomes angry easily if you do not agree with his every word. He has even yelled at meWhich no doctor has done in my 78 YrRecently he performed a Bronchoscopy which resulted in a bruised lip and horrible pain. When I called him about these he replied'Well, I didn't do anything!' No I'm sorry you're having this, it's unusual. He has always been abrupt but I did trust his care until he wouldn't listen to my symptoms of atypical TB which I had 4 times. I insisted aggressively that he send me to infectious disease doctor. Results of Bronchoscopy proved that's what I needed. He ran many expensive tests which resulted in noPlans for any treatment. I have wasted a year but now have a infectious disease doctor who will help meThe bottom line is that he never gave me any words that he cared one way or the other. All the other doctors in Banner group have been wonderful at letting me know.
