I had a robotic inguinal hernia repair in the spring of 2024. The incisions were taped and glued closed. I noticed a small gap in one of the incisions after I got home. I went back 4 times in 3 months because the wound wasn't healing. I was told each time 'Don't worry about it', it will eventually heal. He blew me off each time I returned. I sought out another surgeon for the wound and he told me I also had an umbilical hernia. So, I had the surgery for the umbilical hernia and he repaired the existing wound. That didn't go well either because I had internal bleeding that put me back in the hospital for 8 days. Now, today I'm feeling tenderness back in my groin.
