I have been his patient for over 10 years and overall he has been pretty good. However, he handled my recent prescription situation horribly and put me in a very bad and vulnerable position. I tried to refill my prescription ten days ago and he just kept canceling it with no explanation. I had actually gotten a confirmation initially that I would be receiving it in a few days in the mail. Then abruptly today I got a cancellation with no explanation. After multiple calls, I learned that I actually needed to go in for an office visit in order to have prescriptions refilled. This is a very unacceptable way of handling things. The proper way would have been several months ago to have given me a notice that I need to be seen in the office in order to have my future prescriptions refilled. I am very unhappy with this and I will be changing doctors. I don’t know if this was him or his assistant, but one of them dropped the ball. I got no messages, emails, messages in the app or nothing to warn me that he would not be filling nor approving any of my prescriptions. This has has now left me in a position where I don’t have a prescription for several days until I go to an “emergency” appointment with him this coming Tuesday. Then I imagine he’ll release my prescription, but how horrible of him to do that to me.
