BEWARE! I am here to warn all about this doctor. If you are looking for quality care from an experienced and knowledgable doctor that actually cares about his patients then this is NOT the doctor for you. From personal experience with my father, this doctor has done next to nothing to properly treat his serious condition. After several concerns about this doctor being voiced from both my elderly parents, I was able to see first hand for myself the lack of concern and blatant lack of professionalism displayed by Mr. Shukla at a recent appointment. We arrived early to the appointment. After waiting 30 minutes to see the Dr., he finally came into the room. Never once did he greet me or ask my relation to the patient. He seemed to dismiss my elderly father's legitimate concerns and also seemed bothered by basic follow up questions regarding the labs. He NEVER even completed a physical exam and after about 10 minutes told us our time was up and proceeded to walk out after we asked him to please check out a constant pain in my father's left arm. He told us "We have discussed enough and your time is up." Needless to say, I was appalled and filed an official complaint with Kaiser Permanente. It's unfortunate that we have some medical doctors in this industry that don't want or care about doing their job well. This Dr. just lost a patient. Sadly this patient/doctor relationship should have ended a long time ago since there has been no positive results achieved. My recommendation is to always advocate for yourself and your elderly loved ones healthcare. Research primary care doctors throughly before choosing one and write reviews about your good and bad experiences to empower others to make the best decision.
