My lung & sinus issues have persisted since January 18 & prevent me from doing my job in the field so I resorted to telework. I’ve seen my PCP, been to the ER & referral doctor then on Feb 2, a visit to the Pulmonologist, Dr. Labissiere. The initial visit was fine except my employer required a note following certain guidelines for me to request reasonable accommodations. The note written on my first visit was not accepted so I followed up with Dr. Labissiere immediately. I explained my work situation & sent him a copy of the guidelines. He said that I would have to wait for the next visit. Still sick during the two week interim & hoping for a solid diagnosis, I arrived at his office today, and waited in the lobby for 1/2 hour. I was then called back to a room where Dr, Labissiere said he would not write a letter for my employer explaining my diagnosis, prognosis or any workplace limitations; however, he did tell me to find another Doctor. I received no further treatment.
