Horrible bedside manner. Had an IUD placed in 2016 and he made a unilateral decision to cut the string too short “because men don’t like to feel it”, then had the nerve to tell me “you probably just don’t know what you’re feeling for” when I told him I couldn’t feel the string at a follow up visit. I have had 3 painful and unsuccessful attempts to remove it and now need to have a surgical procedure to have the iud removed. He was my only choice insurance would pay for so if thats your situation, arm yourself with knowledge and don’t let him bully or rush you. He also performed a transvagina ultrasound to check if the IUD was in place but didn’t explain to me that’s what he needed to do.
