This was, without exaggeration, one of the most disturbing and unprofessional medical encounters I have ever experienced. From the moment he walked in, he acted like he couldn’t be bothered to care. He didn’t answer questions. He didn’t offer guidance. He didn’t explain anything. He carried himself with the apathy and immaturity of a bored teenager, not a physician entrusted with the health of a newborn.The most disturbing moment was when he pretended to throw my baby in a joking “catch” motion. Let that sink in. He simulated throwing a newborn across the room like it was some kind of casual joke. My heart dropped. I nearly cried right there. This is not humor. This is not bedside manner. This is reckless, inappropriate, and deeply unsettling behavior from someone who should understand the vulnerability of infants and the trust parents place in him.He actually shamed my baby for crying — a newborn. A literal newborn, doing the only thing newborns are biologically capable of doing
