I too was a patient of his in Berlin, Germany in the winter if 1989- a month after the Wall 'came down' and East Germans, Hungarians,etc came flooding into West Berlin. I picked up bacterial pneumonia and several other doctors (I was traveling in Austria) insisted I was not sick. It was not until the good Dr Grow dx'd my pneumonia at the Berlin US Army Hospital that I began a slow recovery. I often assumed that my infection was brought to me from all those warm bodies (carrying bugs my body had not been exposed to) flooding into former West Berlin. I also wonder if that infection is why I never got Covid. Thank you Dr Jeff Grow.
