If I could leave less than 1 star I would. Run, do not walk away from this doctor’s practice. Zero patient advocacy, refused to take the time to listen to patient’s family about an alarming amount of symptoms and negligently missed a diagnoses of metastatic cancer that was found one week later in a Philadelphia Hospital. Heckert’s lack of attentive patient care, complete disregard for returning urgent phone calls from family members and an overall deficiency in the working knowledge of the body’s mechanisms almost cost the life of a man who was rapidly declining. Heckert’s lack of interest, urgency or overall execution of due diligence in patient advocacy will cost the lives of patients in his care. Beebe Healthcare should be alarmed at the way this doctor in their medical network treats patients and their families. Heckert jeopardizes lives.
