He didn’t read his notes from Carolina behavioral after I self admitted there for 5 days. Before I self admitted I had an appointment with Dr. Smith. My mom took me to the appointment cuz I was so depressed. I couldn’t function. She pleaded with the lady at the front desk to let me see the Dr. but we were 6 minutes late & she refused. I chose to go to CBH,I didn’t know where else to turn. I went to my follow up appt with Dr. Smith after I was discharged. he went thru his usual 2 minute shpeel & was ready to dismiss me when I finally said I’m here to follow up from my Self Admit to CBH. He scrolled back thru his notes. Read them for about 5 minutes. Then he went into a rant about me having suicidal thoughts and accused me of drug shopping? When I told him, I tried to see him at that time, he flipped out & said so you’re blaming me for not seeing you? I finally said, I think we’re done here. I had never felt more suicidal in my life than that day when I left his office.
