Patient Reviews
Jul 13, 2024
I came in after suffering from dysphagia (which I’ve never had before in my life) for months. My dentist said she saw tonsil stones but was unable to dislodge because they were “very deep” and told me to go to an ent for removal. I booked an appointment with Dr Heydt and when I came in she barely even looked inside of my mouth, looked angry at me and talked down to me the whole time. It’s like she was angry I would even consider that a doctor could help me with this? It was so baffling and honestly scary. She barely looked and immediately diagnosed me with having too much stomach acid and said this was the reason for my dysphagia despite me never even mentioning my diet to her besides that the newfound Dysphagia was making it debilitating to even eat anymore. After waiting months for a non dismissive ent, I finally got an endoscopy done and found out I have been suffering from candida for this whole time and it could have gotten a lot worse untreated. This was NOT in my head.
