I went to an office for an infected tooth and needed an emergency extraction. Dr. Nehleber was the specialist available. I only met him at the start of the procedure but was calmed by the positive reviews online. He did a good job of summarizing the procedure and also was great at listening and responding to all the questions I had written. He acknowledged my nervousness, helped me understand each procedure and expense, and helped me make decisions that I felt most comfortable with. The most painful part of the procedure was the pinching of the novocaine needle, surprisingly. He and the assistant did a great job of distracting, too. The extraction itself was as comfortable as it could possibly be. The most impressive part is that he was extremely good at checking in, offering breaks for my comfort, telling me when I'd hear a noise or feel pressure, and updating me on time left, so nothing came as a surprise. It's been about 24 hours post-extraction, and ibuprofen alone is working well.
