My interactions with the front desk and nurse were wonderful. They were very sweet and helped take care of getting me signed in efficiently and set up in the room prior to meeting with Dr. Young. I was very disheartened with my interaction with Dr. Young. He seemed very disinterested and went through the appointment very robotically. I had a silent miscarriage; with hopes of getting genetic testing and blood work done to hopefully get some answers I was met with being told we couldn’t with little to no explanation other than that this is normal and we will do all of that testing once I become pregnant again. After going through this situation, the last thing I want to do is to become pregnant again blind to what occurred with our first loss. I had to have a D&C, that Dr. Young performed. The procedure went well, but following the procedure my husband was met with the same energy from Dr. Young that I was in my first appointment, leaving us both very saddened and frustrated.
