How is it even possible for a dentist to forget to fill your tooth after extensive prep, numbing and drilling. Leave it to Dr. Long, and all the trips coming back--about ten--he still missed the huge hole in the tooth but, instead, would convincingly state the tooth next to it needed a root canal, and that would sooth my pain. When that didn't work, it was the tooth next to that and then the next one. Eventually, after seeing another doctor, none of the teeth needed root canals, but they all needed crowns--and the tooth that was just a filling he forgot to fill then needed a root canal and crown due to being so open for months.
