Dr. Du lacks professional demeanor. Mr. Du called me at home one evening to discuss my concerns I had with my surgery and when I had additional questions regarding my symptoms and next steps, he stated 'I have spent 45 minutes on the phone with you, and I could be having dinner with my family'. WOW I was not sure how to respond. I checked my phone, and it was 37 minutes, and he did not have to call me at home during his family time, it could have waited until the next day, that was his choice. I called the patient advocacy to share my concerns. I latter received letter acknowledging my concerns, however never mentioned Mr. Du's rude comment with respect to “dinner with his family” and his lack of professionalism and poor bedside manner should not go without mention from the patient advocacy, but it was swept under the carpet. It's very clear Franciscan is desperate Doctors, even with mediocracy bedside manner; and they can get away with treating people poorly.
