This doctor has ordered more imaging tests even after my surgeon has said it is most likely scar tissue. I have never had an ultrasound that hurt before. Now Dr V is pushing for a biopsy. I did not see anyone other than the tech and an RN even though I initially had an appointment to see a provider after the mammogram and the unexpected ultrasound. If I have a biopsy and there is a recurrence, Dr V will be a hero. If the biopsy shows only scar tissue I will be ever so relieved.This experience has made me realize long term recurrences are more common than I realized especially with hormone receptor cancer. Ladies get those mammograms yearly.
