My daughter was admitted 3 times to Wolfsons for stomach pains and on going diarrhea. Lab work and tests were ran several times. “Normal results” Pancreas levels were always very low and inflammation was very high. She and the team were never concerned about the fat or numbers of pancreas levels! She suggested putting her on an antidepressant!! We went to UF for a 2nd opinion and had more blood work and tests ran! Results are abnormal and we found out her pancreas IS NOT WORKING!!!!!! Had we listened and put her on antidepressants our daughters illness could have turned data very fast!! So glad we went for a second opinion. I would not recommend Nemours GI to anyone. Every dr there wanted to put her on antidepressants bc they couldn’t find “a cause” for the pain and refused to look at her pancreas and ignored her numbers and results!
